They got a wrong partner in Russia. Prices was crazy (some period of time Wii in shops was more expensive than X360). Wii and DS was even hard to find in shops, and no games for them too. Then they established Nintendo of Russia. Things starting move to better, but very slow.
NoR made a great feature called Nintendo Guardians. Its a fan of NIntendo, one to a big city. They gather NIntendo fans once per week in some pizza house/Burgerking/etc for streetpassing and playing games together. Some of food and drinks on the meeting is payed by Nintendo. Thats a best way to surely get some streetpasses for me! )))

Looking on game forums - it sold good between fans, sonyboys community in Russia is strong. Now people thinking and not mich excited about both Ps4/X1. In real life - its available in a lot of shops. X1 isn't available in Russia yet officially, but diehard xbox fans already bought it from USA/Europe.
I think the console wich will be hacked first will win this gen in Russia. But not a WiiU.
I'm not too much excited about PS4/X1 this gen, cause most of their games can be played on PC and Sony exclusives never interested me. I have a WiiU and 3DS and it currently seems that wil be it for me this gen.
