No no no, you misunderstood. It's not how the citizens f*ck, it's how they treat people of different ethnicities, genders, religions, sexual orientations, etc.

If people of different colors are treated badly, religion is taught in school, women are powerless and gays don't have the same rights as straight people... that's a good way to tell how advanced a culture is. The majority is always okay, they have the power, it's how the nation treats those who don't that matters.

But this is not the place to discuss this.

Oh,I understand what you mean now. A minority problem... You know, as I understand, Russian society is a bit different from West. For example we never had ethnic problems with black people. (Its just too few of them, I think).
On the gay problems - I know several gays around me. They don't have problems, they just live their own lives. 

I think that the gay problems (same as feminists!) really starts when the stop just being gay and want MORE attention to them. Then they could make problems to themselves.

And for average Russians -  gay problems are almost non-existant, since we mostly see them on a TV.
