Well apparently some turbo controllers are fast enough. Mine isn't of the highest quality though. The trick is to take a plastic bottle and rub it really fast up and down the fret buttons on the guitar controller. Here's a video of a guy using a similar technique.

Or check this one out. Take note even with turbo going on one of the buttons he still needs to rub the other 3 like crazy.
