Not as fast but it would still be a horrible idea to launch a new console in 2015

Their financials say a different story. 3DS hasn't even shipped (SOLD for Nintendo) 1.5m units in the first half of 2014 and WiiU is even worse obviously. 

Yes but to make a console successful you first need to build up the install base and then release heavy hitters for it, relasing a  new console before both of those things will result in heavy losses (Just like Sega), I think they need to keep the Wii U until at least 2017 or the end of 2016. Also they 7m or so people who do have a Wii U will get mad at Nintendo for doing that, resulting in even LESS sales in the consoles they launch in 2015
