It's the dual vs triple that is confusing. Most multi monitor gamers use triple monitors AFAIK, yet there's a large disparity between the two in these statistics. Something doesn't make sense. Are they laptop + desktop users like generic said? That doesn't make much sense either.

No Steam just detects dual monitors as a single res, these people probably just game on 1 of them while the other monitor is a web browser or youtube or whatever,
