if the interests were mutual russia wouldn't have had to resort to force - ironically by flexing their muscles russia has definitely lost influence in eastern europe
putin is a great tactician within russian borders, but at the international level he is a lost cause
otherwise i agree russia is not the only one abusing its' power, being french i am very proud that we opposed the war in Iraq but not so much of our past as a colonial super-power
