And??? Wat does that mean? Its not the same game.

Smash is a very specific game. Advertising 3DS version with the Wii U version is not showing that they're different. You're advertising to the same people who thought Wii U was an add-on to the Wii. If someone can get a 3DS and Smash for much less than Wii U and Smash then they'll do it. Every Smash sold on 3ds could have been a Smash sold on Wii U.

No, srry. Just cuz the two games are being advertise with each other doesn't mean they are the exact same game. There are many, many more reasons they arent the same game. For one if it were the same exact game, they have the same name. But thats not the point. You need to see the entire picture.

Ex: Car companies do it all the time for different models of a car. Nintendo does it with the 3DS/XL/2DS. that doesn't mean theh are the same thing!

As for 3DS/WiiU argument on sales, the answer is still no. It wont make a huge difference. COD for Vita didnt take sales away from COD (X360/PS3) that year, NSMB2 didnt take away sales from NSMBU that year, etc. Who ever wanted a wiiu smash will get it, if somebody gets SSB for 3DS and no SSB wiiu copy that means they were never going to get a SSB WiiU copy. (yes in most cases)

Yeah, Super Smash Bros 4.
