I've always kind of looked at Microsoft as the 'Median' when it comes to the three consoles; it hasn't had the same massive, dominating global success that Nintendo or Sony had, but on the flip side it hasn't made any massive, money-gaping mistakes, ala Wii U or PS3. Basically, the Xbox has done consistently between 'So-So' and 'Pretty Well' and that's fine. It's a trend that will probably going to continue this generation, as the Xbox One will no doubt eventually recoup its investment, even looks primed to nab second place, but will probably find first place out of reach.
In that sense, I do agree that the Xbox One is doing well, and will continue to do well. It's the 'Extremely' that causes a bit of a spittake, though to be fair it makes more sense when it's 'The Xbox One Is Doing Extremely Well Considering...' While I think that the Xbox One is back on course TO DO extremely well, and greatly improved its chances, announcing it's already occured just seems really premature, especially given the dust hasn't quite settled on their last maneuver.
