3rd parties already won? Because they are selling less and less games to a smaller audience and turning to pay to play nonsense and subscription. Sounds to me like no one wins, just like in any war. The biggest losers are the gamers.

They aren't selling "less and less" games though. Software sales were pretty much identical across 2012 and 2013, despite there also being an increase in digital sales (which VGC don't track).

There has been a decrease since 2010/2011, but not because of 3rd parties. The majority of that can be credited to the death of the Wii/DS and the 3DS/WiiU's inability to continue their predecessors success.

The only problem 3rd parties have right now is the limited install bases of the PS4/X1, but that's unavoidable for a new platform. Software sales should drop slightly this year (since the PS3/360 are dying off), but rise again as the generation goes on. The same thing happened last gen, and i expect everyone other before it.

Like i said though, there is no war. The WiiU simply isn't an appealing proposition to 3rd parties. There will always be a handful that have enough resources to justify it, but to most it's a waist of time and money.
