Cause the english youth system has been messed up for a while.. just look at the insane amount of foreign youth players clubs like City/Chelsea etc are bringing in... they are courting 16 year old players like Rodney Kongolo, Javairo Dilrosun (you'll never hear those names again) to come to them.. Nathan Aké from Chelsea is now 19 year old but has been with them since 2011..

City will change that.  Give it a few years.  Their plans for the area around City and the academy are mind blowing.

Their plans are amazing but its more that they get a lot of young foreign players.. I don't think that england doesn't have talented 16 year old players so that city is forced to bring in young dutch (or from wherever) players.. its a shame cause they could block the developement of young players from england who are at the club from say age 12.. Suddenly when they are 16 they are surrounded by the foreign players of the same age who will take their spot.
