That is why I added the operating system in the cost. The processor is good enough for all games. I meant to put 8500gt you could get an 8400gs for about $30. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814122023 that is more than enough to outperform the ps3s gpu. I didn't say it was a better deal rather than It could produce better graphics.

You can't compare a PC to a Console. They are way to different. While statistically that computer might be as good, put a 8400GS or a 8500GT in a PC, and run UT3 at the same resolution and visual setting the PS3 is at, and see how crappy it looks in comparison. (I bet you get 10-15 fps)

When you have closed hardware, and a light OS, you can get a lot more out of a system.

Seriously, why are these people trying to argue that an 8400gt will somehow out perform the PS3/360? I have a e2160 cpu (overclocked to 3ghz), 2 gigs of DDR2 ram, and a 7800gt. My friend let me barrow his COD4 for a day and I'm not even running it with all graphics on high and I used a rather low resolution and my FPS wouldn't be smooth. (20 in intense areas and 50 in no action). Now, lets compare that to the PS3/360 version of COD4 where it looks great and runs at a smoother frame rate most of the time (frame rate drops that I saw were in multiplayer where there'd be smoke grenades and other crap going on in a tight area).
