I'm not sure if you're arguing with yourself or someone else in that thread. Certainly not me. I said I expect maybe a 100k boost in September from the tier 2 launch. That doesn't mean what you just quoted isn't true. You don't have to believe me, but I've seen One in stores in more than one non-tier 1 country. How does "officially" launching it make it any easier for people to buy it? Secondly, like I said before, Xbox has not traditionally and, especially now, will not have a big presence in those countries. Why anyone believes that when it's selling 6-7k per week in the tier 1 European countries (all together) not called the UK after a recent price cut is beyond my ability to understand. |
because launche sales these days are big.
we got 100k+ launch sales form countrys doing 2.5k a week now (germany and france)
we just need 10k first week sales for each of the 25 countries. to reach 250k. or just 5k each for 125k and pass ur 100k goal
+ japan 50-100k (xbox one wont have long legs in japan, but will have a big launch because of hardcore fans)
+ china 0-200k (no idea what they can or will sell)
result: 300k-500k boost
100k boost in september?
25k japan sales
15k china sales
2,4k each other tier 2 country
thats abysmal launch figures....
