Gamestop and other stores that do the used game thing are the main culprits in driving console DRM.  If the devs were getting their cut of every single console sale then there wouldn't be things like online passes.

Surely online passes don't bother you anyways. After all, it is only used game sales that affect them, and I'm assuming you only buy new since Gamestop is so terrible.
