My word, what is it with people and TLoU:R anyway? It's just a game! Never before have I seen such vehement defense for a game, sometimes justified and sometimes not so.

You are probably seeing such vehement defense because never has a game and its existance been so attacked before, most of the 'defense' that I've seen has evolved around the fact it is just a game and why should people complain about a highly rated game being ported across to PS4 so that more people can enjoy it? I've never seen such a degree of entitlement from so many people who think they should be able to decide what games should exist or otherwise, people saying "this game is a cash grab and shouldn't exist" rather than just saying "I don't think its value for money so I won't buy it".

OT, 69k is great sales for the UK and I can see TLOU:R doing an easy 1.5 million. The bit I've even more excited about is seeing the experience ND have gotten from porting TLOU:R to the PS4 in the quality and polish of UC4. The jump in graphics from UC1 to UC2 was quite noticeable, and hopefully they've gained a similar amount of experience on PS4 from doing TLOU:R to have the same effect with UC4.

Except most of those attacks come from Sony fans/owners. It's not like people think they can decide what games should exist, it's more like you're in a gaming forum, people come here to expose their opinions and they rightfully do so. I, for one, although this being the 1st time I say anything about this subject in vgchartz, ain't happy with TLOU remastered. And it's my right to be so. I don't say this is a cash grab, at least no more than dlc and other remakes. People will still buy and by doing so they'll be giving developers more reason to continuing with this practices.

As far as i'm concerned, the reason I don't agree with this game is cuz they released it last year, I bought it last year (although I haven't played it yet, my brother did), and if they had spend the resources they spent on making this remaster in making another game or at least helping other games, like say Uncharted 4, being finished faster would've been much better for me. And they say it's because most PS4 owners didn't own a PS3 last gen? What a load of crap... And even if it where true, I've had PS1, PS2 ands PS3, so I've been a Sony customer for years, and now, at the start of a new gen, when games are needed the most, they're more worried about those who weren't Sony costumers than those who were? Yeah thanks for rewarding these 15 years of brand loyalty.

Anyway, that's my take on the subject. But who cares, that's the state of the industry right now, and TLOUR will still sell lots of copies. My PS4 purchase is just coming a little later now.
