Xbox One sales in 2014 through June: 1,765,244
Xbox 360 sales in 2006 through June: 2,518,342

Not even close to tracking ahead of the 360. Actually, take a look at this.

PS3 sales in 2007 through June: 2,564,173

I'd also argue that it's not gaining traction either.

First 3 months of 2014 sales: 1,066,322

next 3 months of 2014 sales: 698,922

PS4 first 3 months: 2,458,652

PS4 next 3 months: 1,645,613

40% of PS4 sales this year were between April and June.

39.6% of Xbox One sale this year were between April and June.

Both the Xbox One and PS4 have seen summertime sales dips which are expected but if anything sales of the Xbox One have dropped a little bit more than the PS4 and as such the Xbox One has actually lost a little bit of traction.

Now, don't get me wrong. The Xbox One is selling okay, but just okay.

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
