This is funny, maybe I am strange, but I found out the opposite, it made it hard for me to resolve the most basic puzzles (or made me feel "brilliant" for resolving them)... I won't even get started on reaction times, at least judgement on how I should react to situations, it never helped me...
However, it did make some games much more enjoyable, like TV, some sort of content is better enjoyed high, not that I want to push anyone thoward taking drugs, I have not touched that in years by now.
People used to think Alcool helped them drive...
