The PS4 is currently leading globally and in the US, and its sales are tracking only slightly behind the Wii. Its performance this Holiday is expected to be good, but if the console faces the supply problems it had earlier again, and takes too long to implement simple features like DLNA and promised features like MP3 support and Standby mode, then its going to be harmed considerably. |
Suppy problems is one thing the PS4 will not face this holiday.
"simple features" like DLNA, MP3 and standbuy mode (guessing you mean instant resume here) are NOT things that will in anyway impact the sales of a console. No one goes in and buys one console over the other cause you can't stream movies from your PC with or play MP3s. Thats just a nonsensical forum/internet problem and not a real world problem.
The only thing that stands a chance of somehow impacting sales of the PS4, is if MS somehow finds a way to drop the price of the XB1 to $299 for the fall and throw in a game with it. If they do that, then they will sell at least as well as the PS4 or maybe even more.
