I hope Activision/Ubisoft will do the same actually.
I'm spending so much money in games coming from those 3 per year. For me it will just save me money, it is as easy as that.
I'm going to pay way more at the end of the year if I did not have this 10% discount.
The 10% off DLC/Games, I need something like 3/4 games (which is way more I buy per year from them) plus all the DLC (or passes). And everything I'm buying on Xbox One is digital so the discount will apply.
Add to that the vault which give me access to games I would not buy otherwise and the early access.
So in my case (and many other), it is just simple math :)
