In that same wiki page I linked previously in the section titled lower middle class which has a source that leads to the  "U.S. Census Bureau, distribution of personal income, 2006" https://web.archive.org/web/20061218182251/http://pubdb3.census.gov/macro/032006/perinc/new01_001.htm

usually people give the quote along with the source

where is the meaningful quote ?

LOL ok To fit the topic

"根据这些级车型中下阶层大致位于第52和社会的第84百分位之间。在2005年的个人收入分配而言,这将意味着每年的个人总收入从约32,500至60,000元。[21]

所有住户的42%,及大多数的前40%,有两个收入者,家庭收入数字会显著提高,从每年约5万元至10万元。[13]在教育程度方面,27%人有学士学位或更高"

Just kidden here it is in english.

"According to these class models the lower middle class is located roughly between the 52nd and 84th percentile of society. In terms of personal income distribution in 2005, that would mean gross annual personal incomes from about $32,500 to $60,000.[21]

As 42% of all households, and the majority of those in the top 40%, had two income earners, household income figures would be significantly higher, ranging from roughly $50,000 to $100,000 annually.[13] In terms of educational attainment, 27% of persons had a Bachelor's degree or higher"

So like I said in this economy since 2006 lower middle class has become pretty much the working/poor class and 60K a year sits ontop of it.

That is confirming my definition of midle class

I am asking you for the source for your definition :

"There are other more accurate sources listed that put middle class at 100k and 60k at the top of working class or the poor."

No it doesn't. Your source put it at 25k - 100k my source which was published a year later puts it at 32k - 100k This was back in 2006 since then we had war rage on and the financial crises which pushed the lower middle class into the woking poor. Due to many facotors now like increased debt what was the lower middle class in 2005/2006 is now in the workingclass/ poor http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/business-economy-financial-crisis/two-american-families/the-state-of-americas-middle-class-in-eight-charts/
