I challenge you to find another thread where I suggested that Nintendo should go third party (or to be actually accurate: suggest that Nintendo shouldn't ignore the idea of going third party)

Passing someone off as biased is the easy way to go about those things, why don't you try the other route of explaining to me why what I said is wrong?

Challenge not accepted. I'm not going through 3522 post to find that ( I don't have the 2 hours to do that either). Might have been someone else to be honest. Someone on here keeps suggesting it and your name was pretty close to it.

To tell the facts though, Nintendo hasn't ignored that idea. They have flat out rejected it and said if Nintendo would, Metroid, Zelda, Mario etc would all be retired and new franchises would be made for those consoles. The idea of having Zelda on a platform other than Nintendo is pretty laughable.

And the fact that Nintendo has rejected the idea makes it a bad one? I mean, lets be honest here, not every decision a company makes is necessarily a good one. Like I said above, I'm not really waiting for it, but could you give me one reason for why a Zelda release on for example the PS4,X1 and PC would be worse than an exclusive release on the Wii U, from a financial as well as a quality perspective?

It would lose it's Nintendo quality. This is what Nintendo provides. There is good, bad, great, and Nintnedo in regards to quality. There is no way that any developer can make a game multiplatform and near perfect Nintendo quality. This is how Nintendo keeps it's standards high, by releasing it on their own hardware that they designed.
