I don't think WiiU will win December. MS always understood how to sell their systems until the end of the year, with ridiculous prices and bundles to move hardware. Not sure if they will do so this year but if WiiU has to watch to keep it at a distance as it could happen that Xbone will close the gap very fast.

On December the Nintendo console have one boost higher than the other console, and if NOW Wii U sell more, on December i don't think that XBOX ONE will sell more.

And this year, XBOX ONE has already done on price drop, WiiU can still do it.

So only one price-drop allowed per year? Hahaha. And also it didn't have a price drop. Only kinect got removed. So Xbone can still do it.

I think it would do more harm than good for Microsoft to reduce the price of Xbox One twice within a few month period. It would really hurt consumer confidence in the product. Going from $500 in November to $400 in June to $300-350 in the fall would give Xbox One a lot of negative press by making it seem like Microsoft doesnt have faith in the product and would really make it seem like an inferior product to PS4 and early adopters would probably be pretty pissed and potential buyers would think if they just wait a few more months then a 3rd price reduction to occur.

Im going to go ahead and say there is no chance of an official pricecut happening this year, most likely we will see some nice bundles and holiday deals from retailers.
