I have been very vocal against Sony's refusal of EA Access. Partly because of my interest in EA games, and the value I perceived was fair.
However, as a PS4 user, I had no problem with the service being exclusive to Xone, until the famous „value“ statement by Sony. It made me feel that Sony dismissed me personally as someone who cannot recognize the value of his purchases, especially since they are already offering numerous other apps that require subscription (Crunchyroll, MLB, NHL, NBA are just some, but of course – completely unrelated to gaming).

A few days later, after a brief cooling period, this article helped explain so much, and put the whole controversy in perspective. And while I still grieve for the lost opportunity, I can see the entire picture more clearly.

This topic has been discussed in two threads already, so I don't expect another long debate. I just wanted to present this article as I think it is very objective and accurate.
