I've never been huge into RPGs, but I'd say oblivion and the fallout series are overrated. I had a moderate amount of fun with them, but they didn't blow me away at all. Honestly, if it's made by Bethesda, I'm going to most likely think it's overrated. They have good concepts, but they make some of the buggiest games out there. I fully decided this when IGN didn't even downgrade skyrim's score for having near game breaking bugs. For me, their games are excellent to buy 2-3 years after they launch, but I'll never pay a full $60 for it.
