@OP  Maybe PS4 will win, its certainly has a lot of hype to run with as well as being slightly more powerful.  Then again Microsoft has been securing a lot of big exclusives.  There is also this small game called Halo.....

But yes, PS4 may win, it may not but this thread seems a little premature to rule out either one lol

I have a feeling Halo will not viewed as much of an exclusive now the company that made the good Halos is putting out a game called destiny.... Will people who have XB1 get it, yes most definitly. People on the fence? I can many other them being happy with Destiny which could end up being better than Halo in just about every way.

Halo 4 has not been done by Bungie and it was one of the best Halo. I think a lot of people have this misconception that Halo fans are Bungie fans... They are not... They are Halo fans for the majority...

And Destiny is an MMO like game, if you played the beta you can see that apart of cutscene the immersion is not as close as Halo for the campaign for instance. While the gameplay is, I give you that, very similar.

Destiny is just another FPS with a another story and some other gameplay mecanism. The hype comes mainly from the Playstation users would never experienced that kind of gameplay (Halo like) but certainly not because of Destiny story/single players (as what we see so far is okay but certainly up to the level of Halo/Uncharted for instance). Another source of hype is that we have no other game in the vicinity (MMC is 2 months later). (I'm hyped by the way, I want to be clear on that :))

Halo 5 is going to come out a year later, with some great innovations too and will generate as much hype if not more for the Xbox community, I can garantee you that.

ok. fine, I was just going by metacritic which rates Halo 4 at a 87 (with some oddball score scewing it, so its would likely be a 89 or so without it). The only Halo that has scored less is ODST. Halo w/ 97, Halo 2 with 95. 3 w/ 94 and reach has 92. So while you says its one of best reviewers and generally word of mouth say its worst of mainline games.

So its just Sony fans hyping it it huh? How bout this, its just Xbox/Halo fans trying to downplay it because they dont want it to make people not care about Halo as much (Trying to avoid Halo KIller, because it wont "kill" it), things is Destiny is projecting to sell in week one as much as Halo 3 did in its 1st year.
