Trust me, Vivian is NOT a dude. I'm playing TTYD now, she is indeed a she. Her name is feminine, how she talks is feminine, how she acts if feminine. And her two sisters refer to her as a sister, not a dude!
Oh, and she kisses Mario, Nintendo wouldn't do that if she was a he.
In case you didn't know, I have a comic book called Guardians. I'm the writer/creator of it, and we have four issues out right now, with our fifth coming out soon!
