I know there isn't much chat in this forum atm, so hopefully this can kickstart something. Was thinking about my favourite albums of the year so far and was wondering what everyone else was liking so far? I'm gonna update the OP with your suggestions so that it's easier for people to check out!
Personally I have a couple of albums that I have really LOVED this year so I'll let you know about them below:
Lykke Li - I Never Learn
This album has easily been my favourite of the year. The songs are all fantastic and beautiful, with wide, BIG choruses. It's really worth checking out. It's hard to pick some favourite tracks, but Heart of Steel (see above), I Never Learn and Gunshot are all extra special.
La Roux - Trouble In Paradise
I waited soooo long for this album, and then it finally arrived and it is so worth it. La Roux's second album is a really great piece of pop music. Uptight Downton (shown), Paradise Is You and Sexotheque are standouts here. Definitely check it out. So good.
Adore Delano - Til Death Do Us Party
The album in 2014 that I never knew I wanted. Adore Delano was runner up on Rupaul's Drag Race this year, and immediately followed up with this kicker of an album. My Address Is Hollywood, Party and I Adore U are my picks here, although I Look Fuckin' Cool is also well worth a listen!
