And even just based on the 360's US and European sales, it's practically tied to what the PS3 is at the moment, even with the PS3's supposed global brand recognition. These things aren't set in stone. Average customers aren't so blinded by brand loyalty, they just buy whatever their friends say they should. By the way, I've never owned any of the Xbox consoles, I've always gamed on either Playstation or Nintendo consoles. I just hate premature arrogant statements like "it can't" and "it won't". You can't predict the future accurately. Maybe there's a Naughty Dog-style success story in the X1's future. |
Well I never said it was impossible just that its not likely.
Yes it did matter, desptie releasing 1-1.5 years later, costing $200 more, having inferior multiplats/online It was still able to outsell 360 by about 25m in non american regions.
