"You can walk into GameStop right now, fork over $60, and get a brand-new copy of Triple-A Game X, or you can buy six $10 games on Steam, Xbox Live Arcade, or PlayStation Network, and one or two of them (at least) will likely be far better than what you just walked out of the store with."

Yeah I dunno about that far better part.

There is something I am a disappointed about. I want to LOVE Indie games. I hear all this praise about how amazing they can be and how they are a breath of fresh air in an industry full of Triple A bull. Even though I wish I could be part of the love and praise crowd, I can't like Indie games for some reason. Now I am sure a few will come along that I will enjoy, but I've been playing many Indie games the communities say are the best and I just cannot feel it. To be fair I am currently playing games that make me feel alive, (Monster Hunter, Final Fantasy, Bioshock, Dark Souls, ect) and I wish Indie games could do the same for me.

There has to be people in this camp. I am envious of the avid Indie supporter. I feel like I am being robbed or missing something important.
