Another day, another Southampton debacle. Ralph Krueger said in an interview that we are done selling. Jay and Morgan are staying. Couple of hours later, Morgan by twitter makes a rather odd post.

This doesn't make sense. Not only because if the club you signed a contract for a year ago decides not to sell you, it's their choice not yours. Also, what's been destroyed? I think Morgan is an amazing player, he's been my favourite for years at the club and I'd presume the club would want to build the club around and for him, being the strong influence he is. A club not letting you leave means your 6 year journey to leave us is destroyed? Odd. Maybe it means something else (and besides what's another year to be the main star at the team instead of being in the shadow of others, then move).

But here is the main point, should players be allowed to use twitter? We all know the farce that was Yaya Toure and his birthday stuff. They can easily and very publicly shame themselves and their own employers (which no one else does). They are also open to abuse.

The last bit is why no Ref has a twitter account and very few Managers have them either, so why should players?

Hmm, pie.
