I do remember a salesman of a local bank who used to come in my office frequently. His flattering made me sick and I refused him politely. Japan is only developed nation that has lower usage of credit card. I do like them. I wish most people acted like Japanese people.

@bolded- I dislike it as well. I have steered clear of any credit cards for over 14 years. I had one when I was 18 and got rid of it in less than a year.
