Wii U - 500 Xbox One - 670 PS4 - 700 (how did you arrive at these numbers) This is putting the raw power difference in perspective with simple numbers. In 5 years, the Wii U games will look as gorgeous as a PS4 and One game can look now (perhaps at 720p, but in 5 years time 720p will be as bad as 480p ecspecially if 4K TVs and content takes off). But in that same time frame developers may sacrifice native resolution of games to achieve greater graphic fidelity on those other consoles. Meaning everything will again be upscaled to 1080p (everything on Wii U can be upscaled to 1080p aswell). The fact of the matter, PC will always be 10 steps ahead of consoles. When the 9th generation comes out, It would be unheard of for consoles not being able to do 1080p 60fps, but people will want their consoles to do 4k and 2k respectively. Sony and MS will push this and Nintendo will remain the unkown figure in this based on speculation. |
