haha so true. I remember when Ledger was announced as Joker and pretty much EVERY LOTR character, maybe sans gandalf was announced and it was beyond "DOOM" and "FAILURE"
People do this with directors too. All of the people shouting about casting and director choices are so closed minded and lack any artistic bones which is why they freak because they just literally pick up a prior character the actor played or prior movie the director directed and extrapolate that to their entire capability.
I mean Peter Jackson only did Frighteners and Dead Alive, no way he could direct LoTR.

I'm not saying theyre going to win Oscars for this, but people acting like they know how they portrayed their roles and what Druckman or Raimi saw simply based on their look prior to make up, wardrobe and character portrayal is an utter joke.
