I'm surprised you have to do much of anything with the RAM. It hasn't had any significant gains or changes in years now.

Yeah, this will probably be the first time I don't touch RAM.  I have 16GB DDR3 currently (up from 2GB the previous build).  I knew it was overkill at the time, but RAM was cheap as hell. It'll do me for a few years.
