Bolded ain't true, at least comparing with Sony/MS. Of the top of my head I can only remember Modern Warfare 2 not being on Nintendo platform. Let me see if I'm correct: CoD 3 - check (Wii) CoD: world at war - check (Wii) CoD: modern warfare (reflex edition) - check (Wii) CoD: modern warfare 2 - Wasn't on any Nintendo system CoD: modern warfare 3 - check (Wii) CoD: black ops - check (Wii) CoD: black ops 2 - check (WiiU) CoD: ghosts - check (WiiU)
I can't remeber any more CoDs on consoles and I think I've covered them all, but maybe I'm missing any of them? Was CoD 2 was on any console? PS2/Xbox? Even if I'm missing something, 7 out of 8 or 9 surely isn't "many". Saying this let me add that the most fun I had on a CoD on a console was CoD: Modern Warfare Reflex Edition (consoles should have stick with motion controls, it was perfect for some types of games, like FPS). As for the rest, I agree with you although I'm pretty sure a few of those sold decently (not great, but decent), Nintendo platforms had/have little to no impact when it comes to CoD. |
You're forgetting the best one... COD4. So you're right, I guess many wasn't the right termanology.
And most of the COD games on nintendo systems have sold somewhere around .7-1.5 million. For a console that's sold as much as it has, that's a pretty bad install base. And I think that this info still shows that nintendo hasn't been pivotal in the success of the Call of duty franchise.
