Building a Gaming PC for 1080p for Under $550

There's nothing I can really say to this. I just want to highlight that someone somewhere can actually post something like this in a thread like this.

Nothing wrong with what I said, it's pointless to build a PC 25% more expensive than a PS4 that will be useless in like 2 years and a PS4 will endure at least 5-6 years.
People would better invest a little more into building a PC to game. But nothing wrong with doing this either, I just don't see any good point in it.

My PC becomes pointless in 2 years why? I spent $600 and everything I play looks fine to me. My last PC didn't cost much more and I spent 4 years gaming in 1200P.
