Sounds that way to me.  You can't buy it new any longer but.  :O.  The second hand market is real!?!?!?!? 

Get PS3 super slim 500 gb. Or get PS3 super slim 12 GB and upgrade it with 1TB hdd or 64 gb ssd. My ps3 slims HDMI went fry and then I got ps3 super slim.
