Herd mentaility is insane on mobile platforms.. If you are in the top ten you will be set for life but if you are not you will not make any money at all. In order to have great effect on the herds you will need to be f2p to get your friends on there or they will find something else because there are 100's of clones to your app. Also be sure to appeal to the lowest common denominator. This means simple gameplay with a cartoonish artstyle, cute but at the same time cool npc's and early game instant rewards to get people hooked. Then later you slowly make people wait but in small increments to fool the brain into not noticing the time increase nearly as much. Offer special diamonds to decrease time and you have a clear winner
