I love how the people that come in to hate on it can't leave a reason as to why they hate on it. It makes you look like troll, which most of them are, but at least try to contribute to a discussion.
E3 did do a good job of showing a variety of ways to use the gamepad that other systems can't really copy. Some ideas were really rough, like the giant robot and guard projects, but not one of them really looked bad or non-functional.
The asymmetrical game play I like the most because I could think of some crazy stuff for it. I'd love to see a survival horror multiplayer game, where four protagonists share a split screen and the fifth player is using the off screen functionality to be a stealthy monster, like a Xenomorph, hunting the players down.
