What game pressured you into buying a console?

well for home consoles:

GameCube- Mario Kart Double Dash
Wii- Mario Kart Wii (played MK Wii at my aunts before I got my own Wii)
Wii U- Not really any games. maybe New Super Mario Bros. U? But I knew it would have awesome MK and SSB and TLoZ and DK and stuff.
