Due to Peach's absolutely dreadful management and corruption, the Kingdom has long lost its prosperity and are now facing hardships. Chain Chomps run freely in the city and the coin has greatly lost its value. Bandits roam the streets and the pipe business has collapsed.

The Mushroom Kingdom is mostly sold to Germany and China at this point.
