The WiiU is a failure due to the technology, gimmick controller and lack of new/interesting games.

 

The X1 is a failure due to the lack of first party games now that they cannot use third pary to sell, missed focus of the X1 launch not knowing what consumers wanted, a failed market strategy and now offering a generic experience.
