Is the wiiU a failure? No. It's not. But I wouldn't say that it's doing well. Since the ps4 has been out, the wiiU hasn't beaten it's weekly sales once. It didn't even do it the week of its biggest exclusive of all time. Here's the wiiU's huge problem though that makes me confident that it won't be a success. People compare the wiiU and the ps3 sometimes because the ps3 started out with pretty bad sales, but they picked up about a year and a half after launch. If you look at the sales, ps3's first year was far better than it's first, and so on. The wiiU's second year is trending worse. So the idea that the sales will pick up at some point doesn't come from a realistic look at the numbers. It comes solely from misplaced optimism.
