95% (if not more) of indie games are nothing more than 1-2 hour long mediocre fests with no replayability whatsoever.

I think people have a right to be pissed if they have laid out £350 for a ps4, and the only thing they currently have to play on it are indie games. (taking in to account infamous can be platinumed in 10 hours & Killzone was a flop)

Man, do you actually play indies? Limbo, Braid, Journey, Machinarium...? If you call THAT mediocre then you probably have a bad taste for games. No, really.
We can understand that they want more triple-As on PS4 because that's what everyone wants. But less indies are not equal more AAA.

AAAs need a really long time to develop, and Sony spend last years doing a lot of great games for PS3, that's why there are few on PS4 for now. But the future is bright and these complaints will cease to exist.

Anyway he's right about the fact that the majority of indie game are not intersting ( i'm talking about the whole indie world : flash games, etc.. )

I think the only thing he's right is that he's an Xbox lover, so indies will always suck... until ID@XBOX comes out, then, look, MS supports games, yay!

So... my other opinion is that gamers complain about everything in a way that I don't understand their point. "Another shooter? bah", but when a alternative game comes out it won't sell because it doesn't attract gamers. Consolidate names on the market like God of War, Marios and Gears of Wars will always have their space, but new games have to fight really hard toa barely survive in the industry.

Hey, I'm not saying everyone should LOVE all the indies and make them priority. They are like AAAs, some of them are good, some of them not, but they are a nice addition to diversity. Complaints about indies existence makes no sense.
