First off, it wouldn´t be a game centered around Master Chief, but he would probably be a central part of it. Also, the Halo universe offers such a unique mythos that you could actually create something that lasts offer several Movies. And finally, Halo fans will support it all over the World in huge numbers. |
How many Halo fans are there? The ones that buy the games?
If all the halo fans in the world goes to watch the movie and it was only they, the movie will flob badly...
A Halo movie will have to be very high budgeted...An Uncharted movie can survive by being more grounded just like any other Indiana Jones clone but with a younger, witter protagonist for the modern audience....
You need to realize most of the more dedicated Halo fans are here in the US...and you can not can not, and i repeat can not rule out women. Nowadays, If there is no romatic appeal in a movie. Chicks are less encouraged to see it. Halo will do way better as a series rather than a movie. Uncharted was built for Hollywood.
