I never intend on using one, so I don't really care. Needing to lug around a hard drive seems like an added inconvenience. I'm not going to say no to external HDDs, but I'm not going to fight for it either. Also, you could get an external 2.5 inch HDD and take the HDD out of the enclosure. I think it's kinda funny that that's somehow cheaper...
