I will buy it , the only downside I see is there is a destiny story that involves reclaiming mankind's role in the universe and so not buying the expansions could mean that you don't finish destiny's story.
Now Bungie could have a situation where the story has a ending and each expansion tells other story lines and acts as a bridge to Destiny 2 , but somehow I doubt it , and feel they will dole out the story in increments, and the time from launch to the first expansions seem to suggest that will be the case .
