The problem with these lists is they're heavily influenced by nostalgia goggles rather than being objective comparisons of the quality of each product and their respective game libraries. The NES in 1st makes sense. It was a quality product, it had an amazing library, and it pretty much saved the gaming industry. Not my choice for 1st, but someone would be 100% justified in choosing it.

Almost everything after that seems completely random. There's no consistency at all. It's worth noting the age of the list, but still...
