As a kid, I could never beat the Shadow Queen from Paper Mario: TTYD. The fact that she had 150 HP already intimidated me, since that is a rather big health spike compared to the other bosses, and I never thought to use Vivian's Veil ability, so her charged wave attack would always take a huge chuck of my health, and I just couldn't beat her for the longest time.
Guess I wasn't supplied with enough Ultra Shrooms.
