I'm level 6 I believe, almost level 7.
Positives:
Enemies look awesome, Bungie has always exceled at that
Nice special effects
Partying up and playing online together is very smooth and easy
UI is very simple and easy to navigate
Dat typical epic Bungie soundtrack
Negatives:
Shitty gunplay
Sluggish controls
No gore?
Voice acting is TERRIBLE
The PvP in the beta is TERRIBLE
Loot system is not explained at all
A countdown timer if you leave the designated area? In what is essentially an MMO? lulz
AI is not up to Bungie par
The AI might be solved by later levels and higher level enemies. The loot I can brush up on by reading, the game has never really been too appealing to me so I haven't read up much on it. I am really shocked at the controls and voice acting. And I guess the gunplay. It might have the most disappointing shotgun ever in a game?
Haven't done a strike mission yet. I will say, it seems like it will be much more fun online with people, which is what I have been doing in a 2-3 player party. Borderlands I spent hundreds of hours in (mostly the first, the sequel was trash imho) but it was almost entirely solo. This game I think will be the opposite, much less entertaining solo.
Based off the beta it is still a no buy for me, but my brother is pretty impressed and we share an account so maybe he buys it.
