Yea for sure, that's the whole point of it, with Obsidian's great RPG design with factions and great writing, etc. Not to mention the character models are much much better and you'll be able to see differences between the armor and weapons much more than Baldur's Gate. I love the sprite work of Baldur's Gate btw. I believe the characters are actually 3D in PoE.
